Welcome to St Simon Zelotes Church

Just off Cadogan Square, the church was designed by Joseph Peacock and built in 1859. In the Decorative style it has been described as ‘idiosyncratic’ and, by John Betjeman, ‘eccentric’. With its rich carving and warm panelling at the east end, the interior is intimate and welcoming.

At the heart of the life of the church, however, is not the building. It is our conviction that Jesus Christ is God’s magnificent gift to the world. Our aim is to know him better and make him known more widely.

Whatever your background or beliefs, whether a firm believer or just looking, we warmly invite you to St Simon’s.

Service of Thanksgiving and Prayer for St Simon Zelotes

On Sunday 26 October at 6.30pm we welcome you to a service to celebrate the past 155 years of St Simon’s and pray for the future. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

Halloween Treats – 31st October

St Simon’s will be serving pumpkin soup, toffee apples, and treats from 4.30-7pm at the church on 31st October. Do drop in!
